What few of us are here . You may remember Joe Gandolfo. His wife passed away and he needs a little help with expenses...

If you can spare a few bucks maybe chip in a few. Not sure what to say. God bless.

Just read you Michigan guys are getting the worst ref crew from the sec. They favor the underdogs and will call some shenanigans. Good luck.

oh and congrats to UM for making it in there. I am pulling for the field vs. UGA.

TCU, UM or OSU .... if someone can get pressure on bennett he isnt a good passer, but he has a good OL so that will be tough.

Well I will be pulling for Michigan. Dont want an SEC team beside Bama to have it :D

For the record I dont think TCU deserved a shot at the playoffs at #3, or probably at all. Did Bama deserve a shot? No, neither did clemson, or Tennessee (63 points to south carolina) but there was not a good team. I would have put Utah in there but this will be moot when the playoffs expand and the regular season will be for naught.

I'm gonna disagree with this one - TCU shouldn't be punished for having to play an extra game, and rightfully so they weren't. Losing in OT on a FG to a team they'd already beaten once this year made the committee's job easy. USC deservedly so got booted out, it was their second loss and a blowout at that. Sure it meant Ohio State backed in but this format a 1-loss team backing in (even if in their final regular season game they got blown out by 23 points at home against their biggest is better than a 2-loss team jumping in. On the surface that's a tough break for Georgia as they get a matchup against the one team that can come close to matching them 5-star for 5-star. Won't matter though since Georgia will most likely do the same thing that Michigan did...and with 3+ weeks to prepare the Bulldogs should skate to the final again.

Georgia and Michigan were the two best teams in college football this season...and Georgia is head and shoulders above everyone else. If Michigan can handle business against TCU (not a foregone conclusion, up until that Big 12 Championship game they were looking like a team of destiny)...personally I want another crack at Georgia. If you wanna be The Man, you gotta beat The Man.

But also wouldn't mind the Wolverines against the Buckeyes in the biggest rivalry game ever. I like our chances.

I will disagree, big difference to playing a team at home vs on the  road / neutral site. TCU is the unworthy team in this. OSU UM and UGA were deserving.  Fact is they lost and did not drop, not a conference champion and only played 2 ranked teams and lost to one of them struggled against a 6-6 baylor (should have lost)  Late game heroics to win baylor and force OT vs K State

the simple fact is there was not a 4th good team, and OSU in is really not a case for a 3rd good team. this year the BCS would have had it correct.

Of course if the TCU beats OSU in the title game I like texas pete hot sauce with my crow. :D

Those dudes at Auburn who tout virtue class God and country hired that scumbag hugh freeze, good he is a perfect fit for that scum bag program. I hope he sets them back decades. If you are not sure what I am talking about, google him and his high school exploits of making girls change shirts in front of him and he admitted to buying hookers (lots of them ) because he didnt want to admit buying them for recruits. Ole Miss could handle paying players but buying hookers was a bridge too far. ALso while at liberty DMing and arguing with a sex assault victim. Trash bag program.  I pull for for any school but tennessee  and they just moved ahead of the barn for hiring a predator.

ALso what about south carolina beating the hell out of orange teams. Go cocks!!! lol I dont care wither way about South carolina but thought they had the best turn around of any program.

So yes...I've gone to the dark side...well kinda.

I basically snagged this solely to play one game: Microsoft Flight Simulator. If you're asking why didn't I just get a PC that can run this game, well let's take a look at that:

-a laptop that can run this game starts at over a grand, and I already have a laptop that is more than capable of doing the things I need it to do (work on papers, run zoom conferences, DJ).

-a Series S costs $299. a flight stick costs $69 (nice). The optional rudder pedals cost an additional $110 or something like that, but since they aren't in stock at the moment, no biggie.

This console will most likely be my flight game one at this point (Star Wars Squadrons, Ace Combat, and MSFS2020). I'll let you know how it goes.

I too have been mulling the Xbox but the disc version. but so far I am sticking to Switch and Steam :)

Apparently in response to Texas and OU making the move to join the SEC in a few seasons, supposedly USC reached out to the B1G in hopes of possibly joining their forward to just a few days ago and we have USC and UCLA joining the B1G (I'm not calling this the Big Ten anymore, it hasn't been 10 teams since the early 90s and the name should've gone out the window forever once Nebraska, Maryland, and Rutgers joined the fray). Current B1G conference members unanimously agreed to allow them in (good for Northwestern, it's the only way they'll get to Pasadena anytime soon).

Rumors are already flying that we're not done here, with other teams from the Pac-12 and maybe the ACC jumping ship to the B1G or SEC. This likely ends up with two super conferences with 20 teams each (for now anyway). I'm personally hoping this somehow ends up with Hawai'i ending up in the ACC or Big East.

I think when its all said and done there will be only 2 to 3 conferences playing D1 or the former group of 5. I think it will be the SEC and B1G and then maybe ACC or some cobbled conference of pac 12/big 12/acc merger left overs.

I do think Notre Dame will be forced into a conference. The big 10 and SEC could tell conferences you want to make the playoffs? you have to have full members in a conference. Besides why would NBC pay 75million for essential 6 or 7 game inventory when ABC/ESPN/CBS or fox are paying 100 million for 20 games a week

I can see this playing out

SEC/B1G will court Notre Dame. They will either join them or Save the ACC and join them and make them relevant.

The SEC will court Notre Dame and try for some sort of North Carolina and Virginia (or Va. Tech not both)  and a long Shot of Colorado / Iowa st or a kansas school to get to 20.

The B1G will court Notre Dame and do something similar with Oregon, North Carolina, Virginia, maybe even go after a Miami FSU Clemson .

This is about expanding TV viewership not about borders and regional alignment. The SEC will not go after Clemson or FSU because they are in those markets already. FSU fans watch Florida, USC fans watch Clemson and vice versa. The days of being in the conference with a team from the same state are over for this version of College football.

I know SEC added Texas after A&M but if you are big conference, you Dont turn down Texas, Notre Dame, OU, USC, Bama, OSU, Michigan, Georgia, North Carolina if they want to join your Conference. Florida, USC and Georgia have kept Clemson FSU and Ga Tech from joining (or rejoining after they left). Although When the SEC expanded in the late 80's adding Ark and USC, UF was going to allow FSU but they declined. That invite went to USC.

I think Notre Dame if they dont join the B1G or SEC then they will join the ACC or some hybrid of the leftovers and make that conference relevant. ND doesnt want to join and may join another league to spite the 2 big behemoths.

These are my opinions based on what I have heard and read and deduced from my time working in the TV industry for years. I could be totally wrong, but I think I may be on to something LOL.

But right now, Big 10, SEC, and Notre Dame will shape the future of college football.
