I'm fine with that. Maybe post scores after the game for those of us that can't check right away since they're working third shift and all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  lol

I am glad to post scores. But you can see the results here. I just didnt in case anyone wanted to find out by opening the game or visiting the site. (spoliers?)

I will be glad to if no one objects.

Didn't realize Texas State was in a different conference...and I'm fine with scores being posted if it's not too much of a bother. Sometimes I'll be stuck at work when the games get played so I won't be able to see the file until the following morning 👍🏽

When you export it uploads to the FTP site.  I tell it to import and it shows me who imported with no issue.
It puts out the info on the page.

Game 3 is probably where it'll go sideways for me, but that's okay as long as the injuries don't continue to pile up. All about getting things setup for the conference run...the rest will fall into place in due time.

i moved  the FTP, something is wrong with the MLF FTP upload. I have it FTPing to the BSB website

Download the file here (so you can get the new ftp info)

http://www.blindsideblitz.com/MLF/NCAA.bin

League site has moved to here in the meantime

http://www.blindsideblitz.com/MLF/Index.html

Apologies for any troubles you guys have/had. I have a ticket out to the MLF host, hopefully I get an answer.

I never had trouble out of them before, its a cheap host I have used over the years and it costs like 12 bucks a year and perfect for a league like this.

I wished the BSB host was that cheap lol...

I looked at the box score you scored to TDs in the like the last few minutes to send it to OT. I was shocked that it went to a bunch of OTs and I actually won.

With my oncoming days off I need to do a deep dive on this game...I've pretty much just let the default go from the jump but as has been made obvious that isn't the way to go.

Is there a way to make changes then sim them to see how they might play out?

I figured there might be confusion cause of me delaying that's why I waited. Sorry for confusion.

No prob norm its a new game to all so no biggie.

If you make changes save then log in as commish and test out. If you like your changes you will probably have to re import make them again save. Then upload. Cause your previous changes will be the wrong week or invalid.

Not yet, but tbh I've kinda let the CPU handle that. Big mistake I know since it's going after a lot of players that realistically wouldn't take a second look at smaller schools like ours. Really just winging all of this slowly lol

From what I understand recruit kids and go to their games and spend points on scouting. I know we wont get 5 stars right off the bat but at least it will lead to it. (maybe LOL)

Hope it wasnt severe for you.

Ive been out for a variety of reasons, and my internet has been out for three days too. I missed some posts back a bit about choosing opponents or something like that? Hopefully Ill get time to peruse and contribute to whatever was asked if still applicable.
Otherwise, don't wait on me for roster submissions etc...

I had a bad feeling about this game. This was my last game so I finish the season with a 5-7 record.

i am gonna look over the schedule export and import function and gonna try to do a custom schedule that all human owned teams play each other.

also if you have a team you want to face we will have requests also

I've got a couple of suggestions if you're ok with that.

1. We play each other twice. Home & Away.
2. Spread out the Open/Bye weeks.
3. Week 16 is Open/Bye for everyone.
4. We each have to play 1 Ranked team in week 15.

Not sure if this is possible, but are we able to manually adjust the stats of a player? If so perhaps we could each choose one player from our team and give them a stats boost. Nothing major, say something like 2 point increase to all stats at the start of the season.

I'm in agreement on just about all of that except for the play each other twice part.

If this were the Pro game I'd be right there with you (so not even sure it'd be possible to set it up in *this* game that way), but I'd like to keep with the typical college tradition of we play each other once a year alternating sites, then complain at the end of the year about how the powers that be screw over the little conferences in favor of the Power 5 during bowl season and College Football Playoff picks.  ;)

As for stat adjustment, I'd like to see how players grew and developed over the course of a season before we bump that up for one player too.

But definitely top priority (IMO) is getting the owner controlled teams to play each other.

i like all of those also except the twice part.

I think I can edit the schedule to fit we all play and a ranked or power 5 team. And alsowill work on more breaks and less straight through schedule. The schedule is XML and I can manually edit it. it might take a bit to do but I think i can.

as for week 15 we all play a ranked team might be tough, but i can do a power 5 during the season if that is ok.

I am ok with one player stat boost and I think we can edit it.

also since games are over for us. I may do every other day in the off season if no one objects until it gets to schedule time. that might take a few days of editing to get that done.

good suggestions everyone.

Alright, I've had to think about this for a bit but here goes...

Between work being what it is (all I'll say is my last assignment had me contemplating quitting nursing for good) and also the added joy of grad school, I just don't have the time to devote to this as much as I'd like for now. I do want to come back at some point but for now I'm just not able to give the attention to this that I'd like. So if you can set this team to auto or whatever, I'd appreciate it.

Sorry guys.
