Space Jam: A New Legacy
Lebron James, Don Cheadle, other people that probably don't want to be associated with this

Watched it because it was on, and because I was also curious - the original might not be gripping cinema but it was okay way back when. Plus the soundtrack on the original was good. Besides, I like Lebron - dude is a leader and uses his platform for good.

This movie was absolutely not good. This was absolute trash.

Named for upcoming year so 22 is the one that dropped a couple months ago.

Playstation Direct is your friend lol. Every once in awhile they'll send out emails with an invite to buy at a designated time. Missed my first chance back in July or August, was starting to wonder if I'd ever get another shot. Beginning of December finally received another one-shows up quick too. Ordered on a Friday and delivered by Monday.

Marvel's What If?...

Animated on Disney+, another addition to the MCU's foray into television content. In keeping with the growing Multiverse theme, the episodes are pretty much what it says it is: each episode focuses on a different scenario (for example, Episode 1 ponders how things play out if Agent Carter had to take the Super Soldier serum instead of Steve Rogers). The animation and storytelling are great, but some of these episodes get really dark.

Hawkeye

Inspired by Matt Fraction's 2012 Hawkeye comic run, we get introduced to young Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) who unwittingly pulls Clint 'Hawkeye' Barton (Jeremy Renner) back into hero duty around Christmas time in a post-Endgame NYC. As with the previous MCU Disney+ entries, there's a good plot and they weave the story really well throughout. Clint and Kate have great chemistry and an enjoyable mentor/mentee relationship. Also wouldn't be Marvel without a twist or five, and some cameos...and since I'm staying spoiler free I won't say who. Worth checking out.

Add me to the land of the PS5 people now (well, as of ten days ago anyway). Fun little system.

Snagged it since it was on sale, and finally after how many different versions (and every other sports game having it) they added roster sharing so I'll have to check it later.

Set up a World Juniors Tournament since EA finally added that one too, and the gameplay is decent so far. Still feels pretty familiar though, controls haven't changed much. I'll do a deeper dive since I've got some free time and I'm feeling a hockey game right now.

Anything interesting happen in college football the last 48-72 hours? No? No big rivalry wins or coaching changes? Nothing like that?

Just checking.

Who knows how long this lasts, but I'm hopeful...and for the record, the Michigan Panthers are the last pro football team to win a championship for the state of Michigan (I'm not counting Arena Football in this), in 1983.

Me, a few months ago: "I can't believe the Rams gave up on Jared Goff that quickly."

Me, now: "ah, now I get it."

Dude makes Joey Harrington look like the next Tom Brady. 🤦🏽‍♂️

So any of that respect I had for Aaron Rodgers is out the window. Fucking idiot.

Absolutely loved Get Out! Horror isn't really my genre like it used to be (and like you said, this isn't your typical horror film) but this one was quite enjoyable.
