Other than Michigan's role in this season (yes, I was at the Michigan/Appalachian State game, and I also remember how much this board blew up at the outcome...that was painful), this series might be a worthy read.

"But it is not enough for me to stand before you tonight and condemn riots. It would be morally irresponsible for me to do that without, at the same time, condemning the contingent, intolerable conditions that exist in our society. These conditions are the things that cause individuals to feel that they have no other alternative than to engage in violent rebellions to get attention. And I must say tonight that a riot is the language of the unheard. And what is it America has failed to hear? It has failed to hear that the plight of the negro poor has worsened over the last twelve or fifteen years. It has failed to hear that the promises of freedom and justice have not been met. And it has failed to hear that large segments of white society are more concerned about tranquility and the status quo than about justice and humanity." - Martin Luther King, Jr

We had a national Champion with 2 losses, that was wild.

Examples of lazy sportswriting, part one - Harbaugh edition

Jim Harbaugh's antics at Michigan could wear thin if team keeps coming up short

Knives will come out for Jim Harbaugh and his schtick if the young Wolverines flop

LOL all around. Michigan's success the last two years doesn't change the fact that in 2014 & 2015, recruiting wasn't up to the level like it was the first few years under Brady Hoke (2011-2013). Does anyone really think that if Michigan goes 9-3 (at worst), Harbaugh is on the hot seat and the Wolverines could possibly start looking for someone else? Under Harbaugh, 9-3, maybe even 8-4 this season would look more like rock bottom (and an aberration). GTFOH
