Princess Bride is a killer choice for this, actually. Nice pick.

Thai, I need to see both The Raid and The Raid: Redemption. However, I did see Judge Dredd which is basically American The Raid and I do recall enjoying the film profusely, even though I can't recall specifics enough to have used it for this (also, John Wick).

Anyways, the point of this was to comment on the necessity that I see The Raid films and correct that gap in my movie knowledge.

I've never seen Slapshot (I know, I know) but I was REALLY bored with Goon when I watched it.

Leave 61* to the damn Yankees fan next time, Crewe!

Anyways, before someone else takes it, let me go ahead and grab Rudy.

If any of you say Field of Dreams, I murder you.

So, at work, if things aren't breaking left and right then there's not much for us to do, since our job is to communicate when things are breaking left and right.

So some people watch Youtube, look at reddit, facebook etc during downtime. So I've decided I'm going to watch the entire Twilight Zone series on Netflix. Obviously not binge watching all at once, but still.

I've seen maybe 3 or 4 episodes my entire life, and I've always wanted to, so might as well.

Well that's another difference from America then because it's definitely illegal to drive while high (although I've heard it can be hard for cops to prove, since weed stays in your system, they're not allowed to drug test you? I don't know how accurate that info is though).

But yeah, I mean, it's like alcohol (although safer than alcohol, health-wise), but it definitely does put you in an un-sober state. I don't understand how there's a debate for driving like that.

Pre-ordered the MVP edition from Gamestop which apparently means I get to pick it up tomorrow. Sweet.

Some of that is different than here. Here in Washington, you have to be at least 21, much like with alcohol, in order to purchase. In addition to that, it is illegal to consume publicly, again, much like alcohol, although also like alcohol that doesn't deter EVERYBODY. My girlfriend and I don't smoke in public though.

Well shit, I already chose Mother!

So, I'll go with a different Darren Aronofsky movie and, perhaps, my favorite movie of all-time: The Fountain.

Granted, I see the movie now as fairly straightforward, but that's my own interpretation of it. You may watch it and feel differently, but in my mind, the movie is one large metaphor. It also, however, discusses the topic of death without the typical tropes that go along with that. Rachel Weiz does a really great job as Hugh Jackman's terminally ill wife, and the direction the story goes ends on a positive note, which, I must say, does not jive with my personal view of death which is perhaps one of the reasons I find this movie so fascinating (my #1 fear is death).

So yeah, The Fountain.
