Title: How was everyone's voting experience?
Post by: BojackHorsefella on November 06, 2018, 04:32:17 PM
Well, today's the day and, regardless of what arguments and counter-arguments you've heard, you've made your decisions. So how'd it go?

Here in Washington, it's pretty awesome because our ballots get mailed to us and we can just drop them off in ballot boxes (so much easier than back in SC). So that was a pleasant experience. I dropped mine off this past Saturday!

How about everyone else? Long lines? Crappy machines? Particularly passionate individuals while you waited? Any predictions for how this all turns out this evening?

I early voted the first Friday. 37 minutes car door to car door. About 15 of that was me in the booth. I had just over 100 races to select and while I had completed all of my research and had my selections, I ran out of printer paper so I had to write it all down.
The order I took notes was not the same as they appeared on the ballot so it took me a few minutes lol

Ugh, at least you were prepared though. That's a lot, 100 races. I'd be overwhelmed, haha.

Absentee ballot voted because I was supposed to work today and didn't want to chance I could get out of work and to the polling place on time. Turned it in last Friday. Not the biggest fan because I'd rather be enjoying the democratic process in line, but it'll do.

Holy shit Crewe, over 100 races??
