COD WWII
« on: December 06, 2017, 09:23:42 PM »
Really wasn't going to buy this, but then I saw it on sale one day and just couldn't pass it up. As per my usual, will try out the massacre ground (for me anyway) that is online once I finish the campaign.
I like that they went back to WWII for this one, and the campaign is pretty good so far. I've noticed some similarities to Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers so far, but those aren't bad stories to draw from to be honest. I'm entertained.

Wrapped up the story last night...it was decent and entertaining enough, and length of time for the story is on par for what they usually do in this series (anywhere from 6-8 hours I'm guessing).
Tried online for a little bit last night, and was okay-got dumped into a team deathmatch midround and did surprisingly alright...didn't even take an L for getting dumped onto a team in the middle of a match. Otherwise just feels like the same ol', same ol' to me. Might mess with it for a little bit but probably not for long.
Pick it up for the story at a discount rate, otherwise just let it go.

Anytime, man! Already thinking about selling it back lol...online seriously just feels kinda dull to me. Played a couple of team deathmatch rounds last night, and both times got dropped into rounds where you've got players ranked up to the 40s and 50s, and I'm at level 2. Held my own surprisingly, but they really need to do a better job of matching people up by rank...otherwise it just turns into a slaughterhouse. I could've sworn they used to have it where players in levels 1-10 (those starting out) would be matched up almost like a boot camp of sorts, before throwing everyone to the wolves.
None of the perks and killstreak stuff matters to me because I'm rarely alive long enough to even think about putting 5-10 kills in a row together lol

yea thats another reason I don't do online.
I always sell games back too although I kinda wish id kept the last GTA. That was the first game where I went through to do all the extra reward collections etc that I always hated. But, I did get MLB out of it so theres that.
