I DVR Jeopardy episodes and the occasional PBS special I want to check out, but other than that no new shows have really caught my eye and most that do (MasterChef, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Good Place, Star Trek Discovery) end up on Hulu the next morning or are exclusive to CBS All-Access.

Speaking of CBS All Access, decided to get it because I wanted Star Trek Discovery and am also looking forward to Jordan Peele's Twilight Zone reboot on April 1.

Congrats to Jabril Peppers for getting the fuck out of ohio.

That being said, the Browns will make the Super Bowl before the Lions do.

Fairly certain it's 95 as well, pretty sure Rashan Salaam's rookie year was that one. So what Crewe said, 1995.

*No spoilers in here, promise*

Captain Marvel
Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Jude Law, Ben Mendelsohn, Clark Gregg, Annette Bening

Not sure how I was able to see this movie about a female superhero as a male without being triggered...oh, thatís right: Iím not a fragile, easily triggered moron.

Anyway, now that Iíve got that out of the way...

Brie Larson was the perfect choice to take on this role, an origin story set in 1995. They didnít beat you over the head with it (the 90s references), which I liked. Seeing a Blockbuster Video again though did bring back some memories (former employee/assistant manager here). As nice as it was to get a look at how Captain Marvel came to be, it was also nice to get an introduction on how Nick Fury came to be as well. The cat is also awesome and I loved the name they gave it for the movie.

The story is pretty good but the pacing stumbles a little bit in parts. But overall itís a fun film that fits in the MCU, and sets up the final superhero before we get Endgame dropped on us next month.

Haven't been in a few years and only got to spend a day there, but loved it!
Broadway is awesome, lots to see. Checked out The Stage on Broadway and Robert's Western World (bars), and it was alright. Country music isn't my thing by any stretch of the imagination but the atmosphere was pretty damn cool.

Check out Edley's BBQ while you're there too. I didn't go, but about a year ago a couple friends of mine did and brought back some Ghost Sauce from there...I love it. Enjoy!

MLB 17. Kinda figured I wouldn't be able to but I'll just keep it separate for now. Gives me more time to figure out whether I want to keep it at SS or try something new.

I know you could transfer your RTTS guys/franchise stuff in the past, but I wonder if you can do it if youíve skipped a season? Debating on whether to continue my Rockies SS/LF or just starting over...

Should clarify, jump into the third season of Daredevil (first two seasons were incredible). Had to finish off Defenders first since it leads into where we find Murdock at the beginning of the last season.

Will probably check out Punisher after that since I haven't seen either season. Same with Jessica Jones (love Krysten Ritter) and Luke Cage. Probably gonna skip Iron Fist completely because the dude annoyed me lol.

I recognize Jumbo Elliott (hello Michigan connection lol), but dude played in the league so long he doesn't offer much of a clue (the guy played for Bo Schembechler in the 80s). Lomas Brown was a former Lion but I honestly can't remember when he left. Willie Roaf and Orlando Pace sound familiar. Guess I'll just snag 2001, it's as much of a guess as everyone else lol.

Finished The Defenders last night and enjoyed it, now to jump in to Daredevil. Yeah, I know Iím late.

Hail to Michigan kicker Haji-Sheikh being the only reason I was able to get that right. :)

My team will suck, and probably finish even worse in the Central than Rigg's Royals. The days of the Ilitches going after the high priced FAs are long gone, and the farm system needs time to rebuild.

And yet they'll still make it back to postseason glory before the Lions will.

Ali Haji-Sheikh is gonna be the key for me, because Eddie Murray for the Lions can't be since he played quite a few seasons here. I remember Haji-Sheikh though because he played college ball at the University of Michigan, and his name typically pops up here as one of the all-time kickers. :)

Since his senior year was 1982, I'm gonna guess 1983 for this one. I know his NFL career didn't pan out as well outside of a season or two, so I'm hoping his rookie campaign was the one he did great in.
