These halftime shows are ridiculously long. I think that was longer than the entire first half.

Nah, the first half leading up to the main event of Shakira was too long. J. Lo was pretty good too (cot damn she’s 50), but she isn’t Shakira. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  Top 5 halftime show. 🤣

Slightly more serious, that was a pretty damn good Super Bowl. Happy for Andy Reid, the Chiefs, and the state of Kansas which is apparently home to Kansas City now. Was nice to watch a Super Bowl where I didn’t really despise anyone (other than Nick Bosa) and was okay with either team taking the title home.
“But it is not enough for me to stand before you tonight and condemn riots. It would be morally irresponsible for me to do that without, at the same time, condemning the contingent, intolerable conditions that exist in our society. These conditions are the things that cause individuals to feel that they have no other alternative than to engage in violent rebellions to get attention. And I must say tonight that a riot is the language of the unheard. And what is it America has failed to hear? It has failed to hear that the plight of the negro poor has worsened over the last twelve or fifteen years. It has failed to hear that the promises of freedom and justice have not been met. And it has failed to hear that large segments of white society are more concerned about tranquility and the status quo than about justice and humanity.” - Martin Luther King, Jr

It was a good game and I in fact thought the half time show was in line with what is to be expected from it, my daughters liked it?  I know you are making light of the KC in Kansas deal but trust me while I am not a Chiefs fan the rest of my home state of Kansas is.  The town is in both states and it doesn't matter where the stadium is located to the half thats in Kansas.
