Short version: the Big 12 is probably on life support. My feeling is the Big Ten (change the f段ng name already) and the PAC-12 try to poach some others. Hell, the ACC may try it too (they池e probably a step ahead with Notre Dame practically in the fold), in an effort to be one of the super conferences with 16 teams. The next few weeks/months are gonna be fascinating to watch.

and I知 gonna hate all of it. I知 not going to recognize college football a few years from now, with the regional rivalries becoming less and less. One of the things I loved about college football was getting to see Michigan play (almost) every team in the conference every season, and at most maybe skip a year. Once this all plays out I値l be lucky to see Michigan play Minnesota for the Little Brown Jug maybe once every five years. A trip to Camp Randall or Champaign may happen even less. Every conference had those regional rivalries or little trophies that might not mean much to outsiders but they sure meant something to the teams, students, and alumni. It started going that way with the last realignment, this next round will just take it even further.

This is dumb.

Jumping in way late to this, but I can see why Ted Lasso received all the critical praise it did. Only a couple episodes left in S1 for me and I知 absolutely hooked. What a pleasant, funny, and heartwarming surprise.

That was one of the more fun and entertaining finals I've seen in a bit...congrats to the Bucks.

...and congrats to the Suns for one hell of a season...except for Chris Paul. Fuck that guy lol, I'm all for another round of CP3 jokes.  :D

The game was on sale again for 24.99 so I just pulled the trigger on it. Apparently I didn't dig around enough the first time, I didn't know they also have pro football, college and pro hoops simulations too. May have to snoop around on those a bit more too for me if this game works out well enough.

Okay, logo...

I didn't think Marvel and Disney+ could top Falcon and Winter Soldier...but the more I think about it they really did it with this series (already confirmed for a season two). The outcome of this series will definitely have far reaching effects on what happens next for the MCU. Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson were amazing in this, as was the rest of the cast...including one person in particular that I won't name right now simply because I don't want to spoil anything. All I will say is that this person steals the scenery once they show up. So hurry up and watch the episodes so I can talk to people about it. Lol.

MCU Disney+ Series Rankings:

1. Loki
1a. Falcon & Winter Soldier
2. WandaVision

Team Name: Hawkins College Demons
Colors: Navy Blue and Orange
Head Coach: Jake Jortles
Offensive Coordinator: Chidi Anagonye
Defensive Coordinator: Din Djarin
Team to replace: Central Michigan
Conference: MAC
Logo: TBD

Looks interesting...yeah, I'd be game for this.

Like I said...cautiously optimistic.

About damn time they added skill trees for coaching staffs (a feature they had back in NCAA 14).

Madden 21 is fun in the limited time I've played it; the "Face of the Franchise" is their latest attempt at a MyCareer/RTTS mode, and it's okay. The story is kinda laughable but it's an improvement over what they've had in the past...but they still have a ways to go to catch NBA 2K and MLB in that regard.

Nice of them to finally focus on franchise mode a decent bit, hopefully it works out. I'm cautiously optimistic...maybe sometime in the next 8 months I can finally get my hands on a PS5 lol

Well since those two were so popular, let's try another one...  8)

Top 5 Iconic Star Wars Quotes

These are my personal favorites going across the entire Star Wars Universe...trying to narrow it down to 5 is an absolute pain in the ass, but as Yoda says: "Do. Or do not. There is no try."

5. "This is the way." - The Mandalorian
What Jon Favreau has done to restore some credibility to the Star Wars franchise after the absolute abomination of The Rise of Skywalker can't be overlooked. Plus, Mando's an amazing character with two amazing seasons so far.

4. "I'm one with the Force, the Force is with me." - Chirrut Imwe, Rogue One
I loved Chirrut's wisdom and this movie is easily the best Star Wars film in the last...well, since the original trilogy came out.

3. "I'm just a simple man trying to make my way in the universe." - Jango Fett, Attack of the Clones
As trash as this movie was it still gave us this nugget. I've grown to appreciate the Fetts more over the years and this quote resonates with me.

2. "The Force will be with you. Always." - Obi-Wan Kenobi, A New Hope
This was an easy choice, as is the next one on the list.

1. "No. *I* am your father." - Darth Vader, The Empire Strikes Back
This one really doesn't require an explanation.

Damn there's a ton I wanted to add to this, but I'll just go with one honorable mention here since Luke was my favorite character as a child (once I got older Han Solo became that for me but that's a discussion for another day):
"I'll never turn to the dark side. You've failed, your highness. I am a Jedi, like my father before me."

Now go and take your shots...or ignoring it is fine too lol

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier

The thing I'm noticing about this and WandaVision is the focus on growth for the characters involved. I've already mentioned I enjoyed WandaVision, and that still holds...but damn this show was just an incredible season. The growth of Sam Wilson and Bucky from their starts in the MCU, the start of this series, all the way to the finale was fun to watch for me. That growth wasn't just limited to them either, as characters we'd seen in the past like Sharon Carter and Baron Zemo also get their time to show that they aren't just one dimensional characters. I also love that Marvel doesn't duck around the topics of class, race, and the complicated history of the US government, they just go right at it. This show made me laugh, made me think, more than once made me say "yep, that's exactly right" and I can't tell you enough how much I enjoyed this season. I'm really looking forward to how they move forward with these characters in a future season or even movie.

Finally got around to picking up Hades since it was on sale. Good game so far, really enjoyable.

Friend of mine also talked me into Slay the Spire, but I'm not familiar with card/deck building type games yet. Might fire that up in a bit.
