Well...the kid is having a season so unreal that the league might as well just give him the MVP Trophy now. His team is 53-5...and he's shooting 50% this season from beyond 30+ feet.  :o

He also shot 75% from 3-pt range tonight against the OKC Thunder, including this game winner in OT (a game they were down by double digits at one point).  :o :o :o

Damn!
"But it is not enough for me to stand before you tonight and condemn riots. It would be morally irresponsible for me to do that without, at the same time, condemning the contingent, intolerable conditions that exist in our society. These conditions are the things that cause individuals to feel that they have no other alternative than to engage in violent rebellions to get attention. And I must say tonight that a riot is the language of the unheard. And what is it America has failed to hear? It has failed to hear that the plight of the negro poor has worsened over the last twelve or fifteen years. It has failed to hear that the promises of freedom and justice have not been met. And it has failed to hear that large segments of white society are more concerned about tranquility and the status quo than about justice and humanity." - Martin Luther King, Jr

This guy and his team has seriously made watching NBA games fun for me again...well their games anyway. Haven't been this interested with a player to watch since...Jordan maybe? He's just fun to watch play and he looks like he's having an absolute blast out there.

I agree, except that I was wholly invested in watching Olajuwan, what with my home team bias and all

Ah, I kinda left hometown heroes out of the convo (although I should've mentioned that lol). Although now that you mention it, Isiah Thomas easily for me...dude was why I wanted to play basketball in grade school/high school, and who I most wanted to emulate (well, my height also had something to do with it, couldn't exactly emulate Dominique haha).

I wouldn't just classify Olajuwan as a hometown hero though ;-)
that year when Robinson won MVP and Dream made him look like an intramural player at best while escorting his team to another championship.
That was fun.

Thomas was great but every time I think of him I think of Bird lol
You mean you can't fly like Wilkins? ;-)

Nah, I was super quick but had that "piece of paper" vertical (could slide a piece of paper under my feet when I jump lol). :D

Speaking of Curry and the Warriors, they're one loss away from basically being the 1996 Red Wings.
