I was hoping the Cowboys would stay with the Hawks and not embarrass themselves.
Despite trying to give it away, they come away with the unexpected win.
This team is playing well above board and I'm not ready to go all in yet, but I am certainly impressed with Linehan, which I never thought Id say, and Marinelli.
A 9 or 10 win season for this group has to be considered a success.
And FWIW, this is Romo's last productive year, he's hurt too bad

Man, Baylor needs to find some D, and soon or they will be ousted rather quickly because they cant score 60 points a game....can they?

Since you were a fan, then Ill take your recollection over mine re the NFL competition. Except for comparing anything to a Pro Bowl.  That so called All star game, check that, any all star game should be done awe with IMO.  There's never anything so pointless.
I wholeheartedly agree with your assessment about separating the two entities.

I always liken this to the hidden ball trick in baseball and the like.  Everyone knows about it and it should never ever work, but, it does.

I never ever took the XFL seriously and it's obvious why.  This was not intended to be a legitimate competitor to the NFL.  That's what they said it was because they needed an enemy but this league never had a chance and I still think it was a stunt with the realization it had zero chance of any sort of longevity.

I read a great article the other day, wish I could remember where, but in any event, like I said, it's not that easy.
Sure, just quit drinking, smoking, doing whatever, it's always easy for us outsiders to call em dumbasses and just say quit, thats all.

I like watching and have been to Teas Motor Speedway once this season and going again in November.
A lot of people like the Chase but I'm not sold on it yet

Astros will not los 100 games this year and will not, most likely, have the first pick and I say it's about time.  Really liking what Im seeing from this franchise in the last couple of years, mostly.

You fellas here about the local businessman that has to refund 4 million dollars to customers because the Astros won't lose 100 games this year?
this guy is a selfless community sap, always always helping various charities and communities in multiple ways.
he started out selling mattresses on the side of the road where his humungous store is now located.
When I was a youngster, we used to see him all the time at a the wrestling arena cutting promos for his biz.  He's uneducated, but he's a true hard working fella, courteous as he can be and as you can see, not afraid to put his money up for the betterment of society.  We need more guys like this, a fuckton more...
Heres a brief article about the promo

Im hoping Baylor doesn't crash and burn when they face a contender.  This run has been really good for that school, they needed it.
