Bahahaha, shut the f*ck up, Brian Kelly. That was an illegal pick and it cost your team the game.  ;D

And for the record, f*ck both those schools. Great game but hearing Jimbo Fisher talking about honor and integrity in his postgame had me rolling my eyes.

Almost every Lions team from the last 50 years loses that game against the Saints today...this team keeps proving me wrong, and I love it. They might very well be legit.  :o

And this makes me laugh more than it should.  ;D

So, according to reports (so it's all speculative) it's starting to sound like Percy Harvin's a bit of a douchebag.

I think this offense really misses Golden Tate. Norm, hopefully you're enjoying what he brings to the Lions. Golden was always tremendous at making the tough catch down the field. Seattle's current receivers without Tate just aren't good at it. Maybe that's another reason why the passing attack is all sideline to sideline stuff rather than stretching the field like it used to be.

I have to admit: I really didn't think the Lions were getting much by making this signing, and always thought Tate was a bit overrated. Six games into his career here, and it's easy to see I was a bit off in my assessment. He's been solid in the receiving game, especially with Megatron at less than 100%. He's been a hell of a signing so far, and I'd hate to see what the offense would've looked like without him here-Tate's been a stabilizing presence.

I'm having a really hard time trying to comprehend what team is at the top of this list...and having watched a majority of their games this year, I can't believe I'm gonna say this but: they aren't bad. If they had a kicker worth anything against Buffalo, they're 5-1.

As is always the case though when it comes to the Lions (and Tony Romo prior to late November and December  :P), let's see how this all plays out. But the first six weeks are promising.

This video pretty much sums up my feelings of watching the Tigers, Lions, Michigan, and my fantasy team perform this weekend.

I don't really feel like listing all of the ways that the Michigan Athletic Department fucked this whole thing up, but one thing former athletic director Don Canham always said was "Don't turn a one day story into a three day story". That pretty much sums up everything. Hoke claimed he didn't know Shane Morris was concussed, then Athletic Neglector Dave Brandon practically threw him under the bus nearly 12 hours later (with a 12:50am Tuesday morning press release. Really????). This athletic department has failed the athletes they were supposed to protect (blaming miscommunication), and that's simply not forgivable. Brady Hoke needs to go, and Dave Brandon needs to go right out the door with him.

Yeah, willfully putting a player back in that took an illegal hit to the head (that asshole from Minnesota should've gotten ejected, and those refs shouldn't be allowed to officiate another game again) is where I draw the line. Coach, if you didn't see it happen then what the hell were you even watching??

It's true: earlier today in the Ann Arbor area, you could buy two coke products and get a game ticket to the Michigan/Minnesota Big Ten Opener. A really hefty discount for a ticket that has a face value of $75. Students, alumni, and others that paid full price for season tickets and have for years are rightfully pissed off. Fuck Dave Brandon.

If you would've told me before the game that the Lions would hold Aaron Rodgers and the Packers to one measly TD I'd have laughed in your face. Great solid effort by them especially since the offense wasn't entirely clicking with 3 turnovers.

The Seattle/Denver game was crazy.

Looking more and more like a change will need to be made for Michigan at the end of the season. Sad because I like Brady Hoke-but can't blame DickRod's recruits anymore. He's got the talent here but he's just not developing them, and that's a huge problem. In both losses this season the offense couldn't even make it to the damn red zone.

I'd be fine with Michigan getting rid of Brandon the AD too.

ESPN Outside the Lines segment finds that the Ravens organization lied about what they knew, and the NFL didn't help matters. John Harbaugh, to his credit, wanted to cut Ray Rice the moment he saw the tape months ago but management shot him down. Great job, guys.

Woke up from a nap and found out that Marty Mornhinweg had done something stupid. For a moment, I seriously thought I woke up back in 2002.

12 years later and I still can't believe that idiot took the wind.
