Sony has the Playstation Now service. Where you can "Rent" games from the previous 3 systems.

What Microsoft is planing on doing is almost enough to get me to but an X1.
If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense.
Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't.
And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would.

The list of games that offer backward compatibility is "around 100 games."  So the good titles that you'll want to play with BC won't be there.  No Kameo, Naruto: Rise of a Ninja/The Broken Bond, etc.  Instead it'll be the usual AAA crap that gets recycled every year anyway, like Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect and Call of Duty.  Games that you barely have time to be nostalgic about because a new sequel is probably about to hit the console anyway.   :2cents:
