No, I can't back anything on kikestarter. I could back a project on say indiegogo, which, I don't understand why more projects don't use it instead. Kickstarter is American-based, you need an American credit card to make payments and to receive payments from kickstarter. Indiegogo is international and uses paypal instead of Amazon payments, so anyone from any country can back and receive funding from it.
Actually the project creator decides which funds they want. I have backed European projects and entered my American cc just fine. It charged me euros which the cc converted. don't like indie gogo.
