On the topic of the comments section, you ever notice how everyone says how "games used to be made for the passion" and everything now is all crap, and clearly the problem is something that happened recently? Funny enough if you look up old mailing lists from back in the 1980s, people were saying the same thing about that newfangled new Nintendo entertainment system, it was all about the money, and clearly no one had passion any more, the games were for the wrong reasons.
Can we just for once get the "things were better 10 years ago" people to shut the hell up?
It's unfortunate that Mr Bristow has passed, though at 72, I can't imagine that Nolan Bushnell will be around much longer himself. Just think, one day we'll be reading a headline about Carmack, Romero, and Miyamoto (not all at once, hopefully).
