I agree with the comments, looks like RCT2.5 3 was pretty darn good. One of my favorites.

Oh, sorry, OpenTTD. And it's more of a railroad tycoon fan game. Anyway, I guess we'll have to wait and see what the final product will look like, I suppose it's true that you should never make a decision on a game in the early alpha state.
