Diet pepsi is one of my faves, I hope it tastes good
Considering I was recently diagnosed with diabetes, this sounds nice. I can't stand diet coke because of the aftertaste due to aspartame. I mean I drink less soda now anyway, but if I want to buy a diet soda from the store when I'm out and about and feeling thirsty, it's nice to know that someone thought "maybe it costs a few pennies more, but people don't like the taste of cigarette butts in their soda."

But fear not, I am still going to drink my sodas (at a lower consumption rate) they will be more of a treat. I will also get the diets more. But I love pure cane sugar sodas, those are the best.

The mountain dew throw backs are pure cane sugar. Pepsi has started doing versions of cherry, vanilla and regular pepsi also. If you live near a high jewish population, coke releases kosher coke. It has real sugar, corn syrup is not kosher. All sodas used to be made with sugar until about the time coke changed their formula and then all soda manufacturers changed to corn syrup.
My personal theory is that corn syrup causes diabetes. When i was a kid, I only knew of one person that had it. Now is seems like half the kids in my sons school has it now.Corn syrup is in everything from ketchup to sodas.
