I think if they might have gotten him if they did 2 things. #1 get a time machine and offered before 2011. Hehurt for Tuscaloosa after the tornado, and fell in love with Bama around that time. #2 the Texas boosters would have to stay out of his way and let him run the team. He listened and turned quickly away after he saw the boosters and their interference.
He changed that mentality here and would not want to go through that again.
